If there's one thing we hate here at eBaum's World, it's a video game made by lazy developers. Unfortunately, with how easy it has become to self-publish titles on storefronts like Steam, the sheer number of bad games seems to be growing on a yearly basis.

What It Really Is: This incident might have only taken three people to create, but dozens of CDC bioterrorism agents will be required to clean it up. Whatever Garry did to make this mess, it's reduced human intellect and wasted Valve's precious server resources. Our only hope is for someone to eradicate it from existence.

4. Uriel's Chasm

What They Say It Is: The Unlicensed Bible game that should have been buried in a desert is back !! and this time its taking no prisoners on its metaphysical "psychosis quest" into the very nature of God and death. Narrated By award winning No-wave high priestess Jarboe (SWANS,The path). 

What It Really Is: This is a self-loathing game that knows it isn't good, going as far as to advertise it. Why in the world is a game about the Bible set in outer space with Geth? Drugs were likely involved. This is a game that will make you never want to read the Bible again.

3. GASP

What They Say It Is: This game takes place in the same universe as our upcoming tittle Secluded; you take control of a lone astronaut that lands on the surface of a planet, miles away from the other members. And it’s your job to meet up with the other astronauts. 

What It Really Is: A walking simulator that doesn't let you walk five feet without seeing a texture glitch or running into an invisible wall. The goal is to walk from point A to point B on various celestial bodies while avoiding the dangers of their alien environments. It's not only boring, but the game was so poorly tested that it doesn't even work probably. This might just be enough to kill the drive for space exploration from individuals who play it.

2. StarForge

What They Say It Is: StarForge is a sci fi survival sandbox. Hunt to eat, dig for resources, craft many items, build a fort, and fight enemies in order to survive! Do this alone, or with other players, in a fully infinite procedural world. 

What It Really Is: Out of all the games on this list, StarForge is the most well-known. With over 8,000 reviews it was advertised heavily at launch, leading to impressive sales. However, it was such a piece of trash that the backlash was cataclysmic, prompting Valve to outright remove it from its store. This game is more hated than North Korea, and certainly did more economic damage to the world.

Top Review: "This game taught me valuable lesson and is THE reason I absolutely cringe at the thought of investing any of my hard earned money in early access games. I think I'm equally upset with myself (for making the purchase), the game and developers, and the platform that would allow people to give money for an incomplete product, and then not make any requirements or demands that the final product be delivered or even require any kind of refund program for said product if zero attempt is made to finish said product (Now who could that be?). Imagine if Tesla took everyones $1000 deposit for a new car that isn't released (Model 3), but then due whatever circumstances, shut down tomorrow. This game was the first early access I tried, and quickly showed me that it can be extremely high risk because there is no expectation or demand for the people running the game or the site to ever have to finish the game.
